Southern Grind is a full production metal shop based in Atlanta, Georgia. We use high performance material and recycled steel to create knives, keychains and hunting accessories, as well as provide tooling for our partner leather shop Southern Hide.

Our collection of Bad Monkey folding knives feature twill-weave carbon-fiber, textured matte finish handles, a titanium lock & liner, 14C-28N blade steel and a RC 59-61 hardness. We offer both tumbled matte & black finishes, hollow grind and conventional v-grind options, as well as serrated and non-serrated variations.
Our GranDaddy knife has a full tang and is made of reclaimed carbon metal. Southern Grind knives are differentially heat treated. It is a bowie style knife with an overall length of 16-7/8". The blade itself is 11" and has a 5-3/4" black micarta handle with the Southern Grind logo laser etched on the micarta. The handle is attached with 3 special design stainless steel screws. Our uniquely designed sheath is made from Kydex and is put together with nickel eyelets. It has the same Southern Grind logo laser etched randomly on the front of the sheath, and the inside is etched with information about our company and our website address. There is a belt clip on the sheath as well as an adjustable webbed strap for the leg.
