The Position: Sales Promotions Manager

Navionics, Inc., the leader in electronic marine charting for the recreational boating market is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Sales Promotions Manager; candidates will have the option of working from a home office. Moderate travel will be involved. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and strategic development of Navionics national promotional staff. This position will also be responsible for creating marketing events, promotions, B2B activities, creating new campaigns, attending shows, and other duties as assigned. The position reports to the National Sales Manager and requires a background in sales, communications, and/or marketing, as well as experience in social media, forums, and the latest social networking. Requirements: ? Some prior management experience ? Sales and/or marketing background ? Fishing and/or Marine industry experience and existing networks/contacts preferred ? Experience working with social media: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube ? Ability to create promotional events and source co-marketing partners ? Creation of video content, Excel spreadsheets, seminar experience, desired ? Understanding of our consumers needs and passion ? Must have excellent communication skills; both oral and written and impeccable organizational and follow up skill sets. In addition to the above requirements, Navionics is searching for candidates who have a passion for the outdoors, who can work well both independently and as part of a global team. Preference will be given to independent, HIGHLY ambitious individuals who demonstrate great creativity and problem solving skills with focus on finding creative solutions.
