Bike Mechanic – Bike Builder Job Description/Summary Bunch Bikes is a fast growing cargo bike manufacturer specializing in high quality yet affordable cargo bikes for families. Located in Denton, Texas, we are seeking a gifted Bike Mechanic to join our team. Come help Bunch Bikes get families on bikes! Check us out at www.bunchbike.com Responsibilities and Duties The primary responsibility of this position is the assembly and tuning of our cargo bikes. All of our products are shipped to the customer fully assembled and must be ready to ride. Our mechanics are responsible for assembly and quality control checks before the bike is packed for shipping. Must be able to work with additional assembly team members to reach daily/weekly production goals. Additional duties may include: Check and maintain parts and accessories stock Identifying and improving inefficiencies in assembly Pack order shipments Receive orders/unload containers Pull and pack accessory shipments Assemble and test prototypes Contribute ideas to product improvement Clean and organize the assembly area Inspect new bike shipments for quality Qualifications At least 1 year experience as a full-time bicycle mechanic. Ability to learn quickly in an ever changing environment. Professional communication with managers and co-workers Ability to lift 50lbs Can work in hot or cold environments (our warehouse has no heating or a/c) Bonus points for experience with electric bikes Compensation and Benefits This is a full-time position. 12$-15$/hr. depending on experience Flexible scheduling Accrued Paid Time Off, up to 144 hours per year for first year full-time employees Paid holidays
