BRAND MANAGER

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

MeatEater is hiring a Brand Manager to help us continue the rapid expansion of our brand.  The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of developing, marketing, and positioning brands in the marketplace that have a successful history of customer acquisition and developing loyal connections with the target community. Must have a passion for the brand and the outdoors industry, with the ability to operate and drive results in a start-up environment. This is a great opportunity to get involved in a growing brand with lots of meaningful potential.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

=      Brand Identity and Position

o  Help define and finetune the MeatEater brand identity and position in the marketplace aligned with the company’s goals and vision

o  Management of brand identity and standards across all facets of the organization to ensure consistency

o  Involvement in design of all company assets from website/digital design to social media graphics, email newsletter, print collateral, and any product/packaging designs

=      Marketing Strategy

o  Creation of annual marketing calendar to align and organize marketing priorities across the year

o  Development of multi-channel and platform marketing strategies to support key initiatives across the brand inclusive of content franchises as well as key apparel and product assortment

o  Infuse each marketing strategy with data & analytics to ensure accurate targeting and the most optimal ROI 

o  Proficiency in innovative and new marketing channels and strategies to ensure MeatEater stays ahead of the curve

o  Consistently identifying proactive opportunities in the marketplace to help deliver against company KPI’s

o  Writing of all marketing copy

o  Partner with key internal teams to bring to life the marketing strategies including the Content, Production, and Business Development teams

=      Customer Loyalty Strategy

o  Responsible for building and implementing a robust CRM strategy leveraging our data insights to drive repeat engagement and interactions with existing customer base

=      Digital Marketing Strategy

o  Development and oversight of multi-channel digital marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition and repeat engagement

=      Customer Experience and Data

o  Develop a comprehensive customer experience strategy to ensure the MeatEater brand is presented and engaged with consistently across all touchpoints

o  Work closely with data & analytics to have a keen understanding of the customer and customer trends, and use the data along with innate perspective on the target customer to develop impactful plans

=      Influencer Marketing

o  Own and develop the right Influencer Marketing strategy to drive impact and ROI for the busines

=      Management and oversight of Marketing Budget

 

REQUIREMENTS:

=      Minimum of 4-6 years of Brand Management and Marketing experience in a relevant industry

=      Keen understanding and proficiency in working with customer data & analytics to translate into an effective marketing strategy

=      Ability to develop and implement multi-channel marketing programs and campaigns

=      Strong communication and writing skills

=      Budget management skills and proficiency

=      Strong collaboration and project management skills to effectively work across all departments

=      Passion for and personal experience in hunting, fishing, wild foods cooking and conservation

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

=      Brand Management and Marketing experience in the hunting, fishing, outdoors industry

=      Desire and ability to thrive and drive progress in a start-up environment
