Outdoor Store Sales Associate - Full Time

If you love the outdoors and are passionate about promoting outdoor recreation, we've got a job for you! A great full time job with discounts on your favorite gear.

32-40 hours/week - Saturday availability required.  A typical shift is 8 hours with a 30 minute lunch break, 4-5 days a week.  If you have personal experience with hiking, biking, paddling, backpacking, skiing, snowboarding, trail running, climbing, or yoga and the equipment that goes along with it, we'd love to hear from you!  Retail/customer service experience is definitely a plus!

Daily tasks include

Customer Service - making sure every customer is greeted and feels comfortable browsing and asking questions during their visit.

Assisting customers with finding appropriate clothing, fitting them with shoes, packs, or necessary gear for their next trip outdoors.

Ringing out customers. 

Maintaining a clean and organized store.

Following direction on daily tasks as well as fun and exciting projects around the store. 

Educating yourself on areas of the store you are unfamiliar with, ie: bikes, kayaks, patio furniture.

Facing product and clothing.

Receiving return and warranty information.

Placing special orders. 

Engaging customers in conversation outside of their shopping experience.

Ideal candidates will be energetic, friendly, and have an enthusiasm for getting people into the right gear and out into their next adventure.
