Based in St Augustine FL, with a  satellite office in Hendersonville NC, Flamand Sports has been representing some of the best brands in the outdoor industry for over 30 years. We are a group of outdoor enthusiasts who sell, service, clinic and call on a wide range of stores from national accounts to individual specialty retailers in the Southeast.  We pride ourselves on growing our customer base and sales through unparalleled service, communication and a positive demeanor. 

 

Brands we currently represent: Thule, Mountain Hardwear, prAna, Terramar & HyrdraPak

We are looking for an individual to join our team as a sales representative.

This position is remote and can be based anywhere in the areas of NC, VA.

Key Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:

·        Facilitation of communication between brands and retailers.

·        Territory management of current accounts including sales, follow up, clinics, services, order entry and more.

·        Territory growth. Obtaining new accounts through cold calling, outreach and more.

·        Work closely with sales team on execution of brand and company initiatives.

·        General customer service support for territory accounts

·        Utilizing brand portals to create customized reports and strategies.

·        Forecasting, analysis and order book management

·        Various general office management responsibilities

·        Travel including but not limited to store visits, trade shows and sales meetings.

Candidates must:

·        Have prior sales or retail experience or other outdoor industry experience preferred.

·        Have good internet connection for remote work – stable enough for video calls etc.

·        Be proficient in Microsoft Office.

·        Be self-motivated and good at time management.

·        Great communicator and comfortable communicating in person as well as through phone, text, email and other virtual tools.

·        Be comfortable with travel (by car, plane, etc.)

·        Willing to work some weekends and travel.

·        Have a passion for the Outdoor Industry.

·        Be comfortable speaking in groups, giving presentations and providing demonstrations.

·        Willing / able to carry, load and unload heavy items (garment bags, racks, etc).

·        Work well in a team setting as well as on your own.

·        Be detail oriented and well organized.

Hours are full time with some events, meetings or tradeshows on weekends.  Must live in one of the following states, NC or VA.

Compensation and benefits are negotiable.
