POSITION SUMMARY:

The Imaging Specialist will join a talented, experienced and functionally diverse team that delivers a digital strategy in support of Bass Pro and its subsidiaries. This person will work with a small dedicated team in an agency environment, an expanded matrixed team, and Bass Pro IT to prioritize, deliver and evolve a growing and varied portfolio of digital investments and solutions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Retouch new and existing images ranging from print and digital ads to instructional and on white product images
  • Have experience with both color correction, standardization as well as creative manipulations
  • Process images with varying levels of complexity, ranging outlining to intricate composites
  • Work on projects of varying skill levels
  • Have kept abreast of current retouching trends
  • Tailor images for varying end uses including social media, billboards, newsprint, print and digital ads
  • Standardize color and correct imperfections of product images
  • Ensure consistency of images according to set standards
  • Collaborate with photographers and marketing teams
  • Work within department workflow and collaborate on improvements
  • Perform other duties as assigned



EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

      

Minimum Degree Preferred:  Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.F.A or B.S.) from accredited institution OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:    2+ year(s) experience in image retouching.



PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:


  • Possess 2+ years of experience retouching photos and digital ads
  • Have a high level of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop with understanding of color standardization
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully self-manage
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines concurrently
  • Demonstrate strong organization and time management skills
  • Be comfortable with production workflow and studio environment
  • Solid understanding of file formats, metadata standards, and asset organization best practices
  • Extremely well organized in maintaining file structures, transfers, and storage
  • Knowledge of photographic techniques such as lighting and composition.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively problem solve
  • Tremendous attention to detail and accuracy when performing tasks
  • Hardworking, positive attitude and passion for the job
  • Knowledge of a wide variety of asset types (images, type, audio and video)
  • Knowledge of Capture One, MS Office, and Adobe Creative Suite is mandatory
  • Experience working within a creative team
