Job Description & Requirements
Wilderness Exchange Unlimited, Denver's premier specialty outdoor retail store is looking for a full time warehouse lead. Wilderness Exchange specializes in climbing, backcountry skiing, mountaineering and camping, and the offsite warehouse is just up the street from the shop. Outdoor experience and knowledge of the categories we sell are a huge plus. Understanding of the fundamentals of warehouse functions, previous experience with point of sale systems and shipping programs are also plus. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, prompt, and excited about the outdoor industry.
The individual will be responsible for accurately fulfilling web orders, helping to receive incoming product, and general warehouse duties. Applicants must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Attention to detail, understanding the importance of accuracy, and the ability to work independently are extremely important. Applicants must also have clear oral and written communication skills, and previous customer service and leadership experience is a huge plus. With the increased success of our online presence, the position is for someone who can adapt well in a dynamic, fast paced environment and has high growth potential.
