Job Title: Sales Executive

Salary: Salary + Commission

Are you a highly motivated Sales Executive with a track record of successfully meeting sales goals and forecasts? Do you love the outdoors? Join our team and sell products you are passionate about.  

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities though inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet and close opportunities (25-30%)
  • Understands customers’ needs and identifies sales opportunities.
  • Communicates with customers, makes outbound calls to potential customers, and follows up on leads.
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
  • Gains an understanding of our partners business goals and turns that knowledge into actionable insights to help them succeed. Creates win/win partnerships.
  • Develops new sales opportunities and grows existing accounts. Builds relationships through follow-up quotations, product delivery, and ongoing communications.
  • Performs effective online demos to prospects as required.
  • Responsible for retaining and growing revenue within assigned accounts
  • Research current accounts, identifies key players, and generates interest in our products.
  • Maintains and expands the database of prospects within the assigned territory.
  • Review and update customer information in NetSuite CRM as needed.
  • Works collaboratively with the sales team to develop, maintain and grow relationships
  • Ensure all new account info is gathered and opening orders are smoothly handed off to the Sales Administrator.
  • The ability to recommend, prepare, and submit all components for the timely and accurate product, technical, pricing information, and quotes.
  • Track and follow-up on the status of outstanding quotes.
  • Proficient in managing sales forecasts, pricelists, and sales margins.
  • Maintains impeccable sales data, customer detail via CRM tool.
  • Tradeshow attendance as required.
  • Delivers training and in-store merchandising with retail partners as needed.
  • Experienced with vendor compliance and new account on-boarding.

 Skills

  • Proven inside sales experience.
  • 10+ years of B2B Sales experience.
  • A proven track record of successfully working with big box retailers.
  • A results driven and competitive nature
  • A strong track record of meeting and exceeding monthly sales quotas.
  • A hunter! You don’t need anyone to hand you your leads. You will go find our new customers and close the deal.
  • Strong connector, communicator, and influencer.
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce or similar CRM for tracking leads and contacts.
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
  • Highly collaborative.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • The ability to provide excellent customer service to new and existing customers.
