Job Description & Requirements
Cripple Creek Backcountry is always looking for the right people to join our family in all of our locations- Carbondale, Aspen Highlands, Denver, Avon, Seattle, and Silverton. Cripple Creek is now a 4 season outfitter specializing in uphill skiing/splitboarding in the winter, and fast and light, human-powered activities in the summer. Two of our locations stock and service 3T gravel bikes.
Service at Cripple Creek is an essential part of our service to our customers. We are confident that we have mounted more ski touring bindings than any 1 shop in the country and for good reason- our attention to detail and dedication to quality service make us the go-to for tech mounts.
Cripple Creek is arguably the largest retailer in the country that still mounts skis from web sales and offers high-end customer service and insight from the beginning steps of a package sale to shipping a ready-to-ski setup that is mounted to the customer's boot. Our incomprehensibly large catalog of information and diverse inventory selection, coupled with a long history of mounting skis, enables us to mount setups without boots in some instances.
The shop tech in each location is an integral part of each location and requires acute attention to detail while maintaining an efficient rate of work and the ability to make both artisanal and mathematical adjustments on the fly in a fast-paced environment.
