Job Description & Requirements

Amplifier Sales Group is hiring a sales representative in the PNW to help cover OR, WA, and AK. The position will require to be located within this territory with a preference toward northern OR or Southern WA.

Amplifier Sales Group was founded in 2020, and the anchor brand is Grundens, the premier commercial and recreational fishing apparel and footwear brand in the territory. If you have experience as a sales rep and a passion for fishing, let’s talk. This position can be structured either as an employee + performance based bonus, or as a 1099 independent contractor.

The goals of this position are to:      

  • Generate sales from existing customers
  • Identify new customer opportunities
  • Increase the average sales per dealer
  • Proactively manage 50 to 100 customer accounts

The main responsibilities for this position are:

  • Proactively plan and call existing customers to increase average annual sales
  • Actively prospect for and develop customers
  • Build a trusting relationship with each customer
  • Manage each customer’s orders, deliveries
  • Showing product lines, store employee clinics, trade shows, and events

Required Qualifications

  • Highly motivated: aggressive attitude to both find and grow account by actively calling and prospecting
  • Experience with apparel / footwear and building assortments
  • Strong sales abilities
  • Technically savvy (computer skills like MS Excel, PP, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and build trust
  • Ability to work remote within the sales territory
  • Good communication skills within the agency and with the brands we represent
  • Passion for fishing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work from a home office
  • 2+ years of experience selling products
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with PNW account base in fishing, hunting, work, and sporting goods channels
