Job Description & Requirements
The Bike Mill Mechanic Position
The Bike Mill is looking to add a full time mechanic to our team. Would you like to live in an upcoming cycling destination with great access to the mountains? No formal education is required. Mechanical inclination and previous experience is a must.
This is a full time year round position and some weekends are necessary. Our small experienced team of current employees work 4 days a week and have 3 consecutive days off.
Primary Responsibilities: (we all do all jobs but the majority of your time would be attributed to the following)
Performing service and maintenance on customer bikes
Building work orders to account for labor performed and parts needed.
Communicating directly with customers about services needed
Diagnosis and recommendation of repairs
Secondary Responsibilities: (Other Employees roles you will need to fill in from time to time)
Sales
Filing warranty claims
Inventory Management
Service Writing
Opening and closing the shop
Whatever comes up!
Starting pay for this position ranges from $12 to $15 depending on experience.
