Retail Sales Associate/Manager - AIRE Factory Store

The AIRE Factory Store is looking for an enthusiastic person to manage and supervise the day-to-day retail operations. The candidate will ensure that general operations of the store run smoothly and meet outlined budget and/or sales goals. Address customer needs on the sales floor and inspire long term customer relationships. The Retail Manager must be a team player and have strong leadership and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet customers with enthusiasm and determine customer wants and needs.
• Handle incoming retail sales calls.
• Maximizing profitability and meet sales targets.
• Process payments for purchases daily and ensure till balances daily.
• Have thorough knowledge of all brands represented in store. And understand their features, benefits, and use of items.
• Assist purchasing department on product mix and replenishment needs.
• Review inventory levels daily and replenish as needed.
• Prepare merchandise for purchase.
• Pricing should be current on all items.
• Ensure product is displayed neatly and properly for maximum sales potential.
• Maintain clean and orderly show room.
• Watch for security risks.
• Resolve conflicts and promote long-term customer relationships.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Place special orders.
• Assist inside wholesale sales team on incoming calls and walk in traffic.
• Team with purchasing with vendor meetings
• Provide assistance and direction to marketing manager regarding promoting and marketing the store.
• Print mail tags for USPS shipments.
• Be present and continue the relationships with IWA meetings and outings
• Assist with invoicing and correct pricing and all invoices are printed correctly.
• Assist with cash receipts for customers.
• Assist with info@ Aire and Outcast emails if needed.

Qualifications:

• Some college experience preferred.
• Three plus years as retail manager or five plus years retail experience.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Passion for active outdoor lifestyle.
