Job Description & Requirements

At Trouts Fly Fishing, we offer customers an accessible environment, knowledgeable staff, and a consistent experience – both online and in stores. Trouts is looking for a Shipping and Receiving Assistant at our Denver, Colorado location to execute inbound and outbound shipments, fulfill customer orders to the highest level of accuracy and provide world class customer service to our nationwide customer base.

Responsibilities:

- Receive in all packages/deliveries, ship orders and inventory, receive purchase orders for inbound inventory and occasionally assist with inventory management and other warehouse duties as requested

- Responsible for recording and receiving in all warehouse deliveries

- Oversee order fulfillment and shipping of all orders to customers in a timely manner

- Ensures compliance with internal control procedures

- Coordinate shipment and delivery of inventory between multiple warehouses

- Assists with inventory management, including but not limited to, cycle counts, transferring of inventory, and reporting

- Able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing needs, issues, and progress on all job functions

 

Experience & Requirements:

•      1-2 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management preferred

•      Attention to detail, ability to multi-task and to manage time-sensitive projects and meet deadlines

•      Strong Customer Service, and communication skills

·      A clear understanding and passion for fly fishing is highly desirable

•      Proficient with Microsoft Office

•      Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs
