Job Summary
The E-Commerce Product Coordinator is a full-time position that oversees La Sportiva North America’s product offering as it pertains to the retail website www.lasportivausa.com. This is a position within the Marketing Department; however close collaboration with the Operations and Product teams is required. The individual in this role will work behind the scenes to manage product catalogs and data feeds, as well as ensure that products are displayed accurately and in an appealing way to the public on the retail website. This is a data-oriented, hands-on, and collaborative role that requires a high level of initiative, eagle-eyed accuracy, and productivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees mass product item and inventory flows from NetSuite ERP to Magento (retail/e-commerce website)
- Troubleshoot and manage the Magento 2 - NetSuite connection Integration App (Celigo) product and inventory flows, including daily monitoring and addressing errors as they come up
- Works with the Product team to maintain product data for import/export onto the e-commerce website, including creating a seasonal product upload checklist
- Manage product catalogs for multiple storefronts/user roles/price levels
- Enable and disable products as they enter and leave product lifecycle
- Manage product API feeds from Magento to third parties (Facebook, Google Shopping)
- Input and update product copy and images on the website as necessary
- Input and update content pages on the website (blog, ambassador bios, policies, etc.) as necessary
- Verify front-end product page accuracy and to ensure products can be purchased that are available
- Strategize consumer-facing up-sells, cross-sells, and merchandising on retail website seasonally
- Create and manage cart price rules (promo codes, discount codes, gift certificate codes)
- Update and edit dealer and retailer listings on the store locator
- Ability to use Adobe Photoshop for entry-level production design tasks (resizing product images for the web)
- Complete tasks on a timely basis, meeting all deadlines and within constraints
- Anything else deemed necessary by management
Skills and Abilities:
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with mass data management
- Experience with NetSuite ERP
- Familiarity with Magento 2 CMS
- Familiarity with the Celigo Integration Platform is a plus
- Beginner/Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop)
- Basic knowledge of HTML
- Basic knowledge of web best practices. User Experience (UX/UI) knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Suite applications
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, web design or another related field
- 2 – 3 years experience in e-commerce, website management, product management or similar
Work Environment
- 37+ hour standard work week requirement
- Office environment with appropriate workspace and equipment needed for the position are provided
- Occasional long periods of sitting, walking, and standing
- The position requires regular interaction with a variety of constituents, including team members and vendors
