Dave & Matt Vans is looking for CNC Machine Operator / Assembler to build a career with our growing team in Rifle, CO. This hands-on position will be responsible for helping create and assemble all CNC components needed to produce our Lifestyle Vans.

You are interested in van conversions and learning how the process of building vans can be done in an efficient, consistent and quality manner. Repeating processes and finding more efficient ways to complete those processes is an exciting prospect. You are task oriented and consider yourself a hard-working individual. You work well in a team setting and are coachable. 

Essential Functions

• Load and unload sheet materials.

• Set up and calibrate tooling.

• Perform necessary machine maintenance and cleaning daily.

• Keep detailed records of equipment and procedures.

• Supervise machine and make adjustments as needed.

• Inspect finished cuts and make sure they meet required specifications.

• Abide by all shop safety standards.

Ideal Experience

• Prior manufacturing / fabrication experience with some labor trade experience (construction, carpentry, etc.) helpful.

• 1+ years of hands-on experience with CNC Equipment. Holzer experience is a plus.

• Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software.

• Proven ability and comfort with mathematical calculations (geometry and material yield).

Physical Requirements

• Must be comfortable working with a variety of power tools and equipment.

• Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move 70+ pounds regularly.

• Must be able to work in a warehouse environment and able to work on concrete floors.

The Nitty-Gritty

Job Type: Full time, hourly

Schedule: 40 hours/week 

Wage: Starting at $25/hr. Opportunity for a raise once the training period is completed.
