About Whittaker Mountaineering

Outdoor speciality retail and rental store located at Rainier BaseCamp, 6 miles from the primary entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park, in Ashford, WA.  Whittaker Mountaineering is the primary outfitter of RMI Expeditions, one of the largest mountain climbing guide services in North America, also located at Rainier BaseCamp. 

Beyond mountaineering gear and apparel, WM serves the needs of  hikers, backpackers, campers, tourists, park visitors and general outdoor enthusiasts.

The summer climbing season at Rainier BaseCamp is a hub of activity with mountain guides, climbers, and hikers as well as live music featured every weekend at BaseCamp Bar & Grill.

This position includes an opportunity to join an RMI Expeditions guided summit climb on Mt. Rainier.
