What we are looking for:
We are looking for a qualified, highly motivated, community-focused marketer to join our team in Truckee, CA.
If you are a tech-savvy go-etter who is experienced in community building, communications, wholesale marketing, and events, we would like to meet you. Our ideal candidate is an avid snowboarder and has exceptional interpersonal and networking skills. The applicant should be a people person with the ability to engage in brand and marketing related conversations both internally and externally.
The ideal candidate should be able to act as the face and voice of our brand by living and breathing Jones when on the mountain, at events, or in the office as well as manage all athlete communications with our Pro, Guide, Ambassador, and Futures teams.

What you can expect in the role:
- Collaborate and execute on the athlete and ambassador strategy and manage the Jones teams, specifically our North American Pro, Guide, Ambassador and Futures programs.
- Coordination and logistics for Jones events, such as avalanche safety, team summits, product demos, and other unique brand activations.
- Manage promotional product marketing functions including inventory, placing orders, logistics, budgeting, and reporting.
- Facilitate and strengthen brand activations at key retail accounts through campaigns, POP, and window programs.
What you should bring to the table:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A focus in business, marketing, and communications is preferred.
- Must have a deep understanding of endemic snowboard space – media, athletes, events, products –and must be able to create industry relationships where necessary.
- At least 2 – 3 years of athlete management experience or community building in the sports sector.
- Experience with event planning and logistics.
- Ability to manage budgets and prioritize investments that align with strategic objectives.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient with marketing tools and platforms – Microsoft 365 products, Google products, Keynote, Notions, etc.
- Strategic and analytically minded, with great attention to detail.
- Proficiency in NetSuite is a plus.
Requirements
Availability to travel frequently as well as flexibility in work hours due to collaboration with our European colleagues. Position is full-time, based out of our Truckee, California offices.
