Job Description & Requirements

Tavezio

OPEN POSITION · GROWTH · MEMBER ACQUISITION

Member Specialist

Prospector · Relationship Builder · Value Storyteller

Spend Less. Buy Smarter. Tavezio helps experience organizations turn what they spend into what they save.

The Opportunity

For over three decades, Tavezio has been the behind-the-scenes engine helping experience organizations spend less and buy smarter. Our intelligence-first platform curates what organizations need, sources better pricing, and learns their spend, so every order is smarter than the last. We handle the buying so our clients can focus on what they actually built their organizations to do.

Camp proved it: 150+ clients, 100.2% revenue retention, and thirty years of trust. Now we’re taking the same playbook up the mountain, to ski resorts and the operators who keep them running. That starts with one person getting in front of them and showing them the money they’re leaving on the table.

The Role

Find the members. Earn the meeting. Show the value.

This is a front-line growth role, hands on the wheel from day one. You’ll build the list of operators worth chasing, run the outreach, and land that first meeting, then walk them through what Tavezio does and why it pays for itself. For most of these operators, you’re the first face of the brand. You can pull that off because you’ve stood where they stand.

You know the difference between a green run and a double black. You understand what mountains need to deliver for skiers, and what it costs to keep one running. You get an operator on the phone, earn the meeting, and show them the savings they’re leaving on the table. That’s the job.

Why It Matters

The next era of Tavezio gets built one conversation at a time.

Camp proved the model. The mountain is the next chapter, and every new market starts with someone willing to pick up the phone, find the right operators, and make the value impossible to ignore. No pipeline, no meetings, no new members. This is where growth actually happens. You’re the tip of the spear.

The Three Pillars of This Role

1 Prospector. You go find the members. You build the target list, work the leads, and keep the top of the funnel full. Comfortable with rejection, energized by the chase. You measure a good week in conversations started, not emails sent.

2 Relationship Builder. You earn the meeting because you’re credible. You hold your own with a mountain operator because you know their world: the season, the crunch, the gear, the guests. You build trust fast, listen more than you pitch, and turn a cold contact into a warm one.

3 Value Storyteller. You lead with outcomes: the money saved, the hassle gone, the orders that get smarter over time. And you can prove it. You present with confidence and connect the dots straight to an operator’s bottom line. Data backs every conversation; you don’t sell features, you sell what those features make possible.

What You’ll Own

BUILD THE PIPELINE

Build and prioritize target lists of ski operators and other experience organizations that fit our profile. Research prospects and find the right person to reach at each account.

Keep the top of the funnel full and the CRM clean and current.

RUN THE OUTREACH

Own outbound across email, phone, and social: enough volume to hit pipeline targets, personal enough to get replies.

Follow up on inbound leads fast and work them to a booked meeting.

Test messaging, track what lands, and sharpen your approach week over week.

PRESENT THE VALUE

Run first meetings and discovery calls: understand the operator’s world, then connect Tavezio’s value to it.

Deliver a clear, confident walkthrough and handle the obvious objections.

Hand off qualified, well-briefed opportunities and help move deals forward.

LEARN & IMPROVE

Bring the voice of the market back inside: what operators care about, what they push back on. Track your activity and pipeline metrics, and own your numbers.

Who You Are

A self-starter with something to prove. You’re growth-oriented: you want a career in sales and you treat this role as the on-ramp. You love the mountain and the ski world, and it’s real enough that operators feel it in the first two minutes. You’re coachable, resilient, and you’d rather make ten more calls than sit around wondering what could’ve been. We care more about your drive and how you connect with people than where, or whether, you went to school.

TRAITS

Thinks like an owner, not a hired gun

Makes things easier, not more complicated

Shows up with energy, stays grounded under pressure

Believes smarter buying helps organizations do more of what they love

What You Bring

MUST HAVE

A genuine connection to skiing and mountain culture, enough to be credible with an operator. Drive, hustle, and comfort with outreach and rejection; you’ll spend your day starting conversations. Strong communication and people instincts; you build rapport fast and present with confidence. A growth mindset: coachable, curious, eager to get better every week.

ALSO A PLUS

Some sales, growth, fundraising, or business-development experience, in college, right after, or anywhere.

Time in or around the ski industry (resort ops, instruction, retail, patrol, guiding). Familiarity with a CRM or outreach tools. No degree required.

Experience presenting, pitching, or selling anything: a product, a program, or an idea.

Compensation & Benefits

Contract-to-hire. Starts as a contract engagement of roughly six months, with a clear path to a permanent role based on performance.

Salary plus commission. You’ll earn a base salary and commission on what you produce, so strong performers earn more. Base and commission depend on experience; discussed at interview stage. Fully remote, anywhere. Occasional travel to operators or company events, reimbursed per policy. 30-day notice. Either party may end the contract engagement with 30 days’ written notice. On conversion to permanent: health coverage and flexible PTO, and a ground-floor growth seat at a 30-year company.

The Bottom Line

Spend Less. Buy Smarter. That’s what Tavezio delivers, and this is the role that opens the next era of the business one conversation at a time. Every experience organization that partners with Tavezio gets smarter buying, real savings, and more resources for the work that matters. If you love the mountain, love the chase, and want to build a sales career, we want to hear from you.
