The Position: Adventure Guide
We're looking for flexible, energetic people who love the outdoors and want to engage in a variety of outdoor multi-sport activities. You'll need to love being around people and be passionate about creating an exceptional experience for our guests. Your attitude and communication skills as well as a willingness to learn new things are the most important qualities. We can teach you what you will need to know about these trips.
We are accepting applications for the following positions for summer of 2017 and encourage applicants to explore and engage in many aspects of the business. As a guide, you will be involved in as many activities as you feel comfortable. More opportunities are available to those who are more versatile.

Food and Beverage
- Short Order Cooks
Various certifications including CPR, First Responder, Swiftwater Rescue, AMGA affiliate and top rope experience, and C.D.L are a plus.
Preference is also given to those that are available from mid May through the beginning of September.
Applicants must be 18 years old at date of hire.
Applicants must be drug free.
A cheerful, supportive, and flexible disposition is required to join our team.
Room and Board
Individual onsite housing is available and is traded for various tasks around the facility. There is an employee lounge in addition to the living quarters. It is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, satellite TV, DVD player, and wireless internet access. Occasional meals provided.
You will live and work in one of the most spectacular areas in the midwest while being surrounded by interesting, enthusiastic and motivated people who love being outdoors. You will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work together as a team while you facilitate outdoor adventures for our guests, providing them with some of the best experiences of their lives. As you work with the guests, you will witness them change as they are re-energized during a weekend getaway.
We offer a competitive wage as well as tips. During peak season, employees are given at least one day off per week to enjoy the local area. We offer discounted trips for friends and family and an experience you will never forget.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Many of our employees have personal vehicles for transportation around the local area. A bike is a good idea for transportation around our campus.
The closest major airport is Austin Straubel International Airport (GRB) in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The airport is located approximately 1.5 hours from the Wildman Adventure Resort. We can help arrange transportation to/from the airport.
