Back in 2002, at a local ski shop in Steamboat Springs, CO., Joe Sternberg and I watched as families waited in long lines after long travel days to rent skis and we knew there had to be a better way. We started Black Tie out of our one car garage with a few hundred pair of skis and a vision to deliver a more convenient way for people to rent skis. Today, we have 16 locally owned and operated Black Tie branches servicing more than 41 world-class mountains. All of us are committed to providing a service that allows you to spend less time waiting in lines and more time on the slopes with family and friends, which is what vacation is all about. We serve 16 locations and 41 resorts.
