Company Description
Four Corners School (FCS) is a 22-year old non-profit based in Monticello, UT. (SE Utah). FCS currently operates three separate programs including the Canyon Country Youth Corps (CCYC) which is a youth employment and education program for youth ages 16 to 23, the Bioregional Outdoor Education Project (BOEP) which is a training program for elementary and middle school teachers in the four Four Corners states where the teachers are trained to incorporate the BOEP outdoor based curriculum into their current curriculum to help get the youth outdoors at a younger age and also that regular classroom education can be taught and learnt in outdoor settings, and Southwest EdVentures (SWED) and Southwest Safari Camps which are FCS's adventure travel programs that operate all over the Colorado Plateau. FCS has also been working with the City of Monticello on the Canyon Country Discovery Center (CCDC) which will be a science center for the Four Corners Region with hopes of completion by 2012.
