Web Designer

Jans LTD. | Park City, UT

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time, In-Person / Remote

JANS is seeking a talented website designer with experience in building and adjusting existing themes and code. Duties include updating and maintaining multiple websites with a focus on SEO and Accessibility requirements. You must be able to work on multiple brands while maintaining brand integrity and standards. Experience in Graphic Design and UX design is a plus. You will be working with a fast-paced, outdoor recreation focused, website management team where you will need to be able to collaborate and bring their message to life. 

This position is full-time or part-time depending on experience and availability. This position will support the respective websites for JANS ltd companies, including jans.com, fishwest.com, vailvalleyanglers.com, and whitepinetouring.com.  

Compensation: DOE

 

Position Overview: Knowledge of and passion for outdoor recreation is a plus. 

 

Required Qualifications:

• Image manipulation using Adobe CC (Photoshop & Illustrator)

• Write HTML 5/CSS 3 code (Adobe CC: Dreamweaver)

• Familiarity with CMS (Wordpress and Netsuite)

• Knowledgeable about Google Analytics and Search Console

• Understand DNS Records

• Familiarity with Video Production Tools is a bonus (Adobe CC: Audition & Premiere)

• Able to work on multiple brands with different brand standards

• Manipulation of existing PHP and JS, or ability to write it

• Understanding of SEO and Accessibility requirements

 

Additional skills (optional) :

• Graphic design experience producing marketing material for print and digital advertising

• Ability to coordinate with print media sources for advertising campaigns

• Art department experience in an advertising or marketing agency
