Job Title: National Sales Manager

Territory: Midwest & Western US

Location: Remote

Terms: Full time, salary position

Requirements/Qualifications:

·        5+ years experience working in Sales Management

·        Outdoor/Hunting experience preferred

·        Experience with managing external sales reps

·        Experience protecting and managing best in class/category leading brands

·        Proven record of successful management of entire sales process, start to finish

·        Strong communicator, written and oral

·        Strong leadership/management skills

·        Desire and willingness to improve performance of department and processes

·        Process driven

·        Ability and willingness to travel 50% of the time

·        Bachelors degree preferred, will consider experience in leu of degree

Job Description: Manage all customers within geographical territory, including Key Accounts, Buy Group Members, Distributors and Independent Retailers. Work with a team of external sales reps within the territory, meeting with them often and reviewing sales data and growth strategies. Responsible for delivering top line sales goals within territory. Tasked with creating new opportunities for product distribution and growing business with current customers. Cross-departmental collaboration on new product development opportunities based on identifying trends in the market. Candidate must have an internal drive to grow topline sales while also improving on program and relationships with customers in given territory.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's reach
  • Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs
  • Management of all customers within territory
  • Manage and lead third party sales representatives, set objectives, train and coach them, and monitor their performance 
  • Ability to meet and exceed internal topline sales goals
  • Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns within customer base
