Job Description & Requirements
KASK America is seeking one candidate to fill the role of Brand Specialist based in the West Coast. Candidates for the position must either reside or be willing to relocate to California within 30-40 minutes of a major airport. This position is a remote employment opportunity based from home with occasional travel to our headquarters in Charlotte,NC required. This position will primarily service our cycling helmet customers with minor assistance in ski and equestrian helmet support. This position also services KOO eyewear in the market.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a firm knowledge of the cycling and ski market and experience in either retail or wholesale sales. Ability and desire to travel is a must. Motivated self-starter with the ability to develop a plan and execute is a priority. Exceptional written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills are a must. Our ideal candidate can connect with brand partners across multiple outdoor industries, be strategic and aggressive at growing and managing their region’s business and be able to think outside of the box.
B2B - Business to Business
- Build and expand the Kask brand through Rep Training. Essentially, visiting territories, dealers, selling product, assessing opportunities, and implementing sales strategies and plans
- Create and maintain continuous product feedback through reporting
- Establish Reporting System Dashboard highlighting retail, wholesale and consumer input
- Develop timely analysis of new product/category opportunities for Kask
- Identify and report trend changes in the marketplace to sales and marketing departments
- Update Kask on competitive products in the market, pricing, and trends
- Dealer Program Ownership--Rate and Score all Dealers w/ Reps
- Aid in opening Kask direct sale accounts with existing dealers and identifying new account targets
B2C - Business to Consumer
- Consumer Relationship through attending consumer events
- Develop and maintain National event calendar. Attend key retailer and consumer events throughout the year
- Imprint Branding Concepts on Consumers
- Instill expertise in retail product training with knowledge through product features and benefits to increase sales and visibility
- Assist Reps and Retailers to provide solutions to dealer and company issues with branding concepts
- Sales Rep and Territory Management (training, motivation, and evaluation)
- Management of Technical Sales Sheets and product information
- Implementation, servicing, and management of POP
- Follow Current and Upcoming Trends // Track Growth
- Report (ROI) Return on Investment
Educational
- Creating lasting impressions and developing strong brand relationships at the retail level
- Provide ongoing training for Sales Reps
- Educational Retail Clinics: Road, Commute, and MTB specific categories, as well as Ski in Winter
- Streamline educational programs for new product launches
Office Management
- Report to KASK America / Cycling Sales Manager
- Follow-up with Inside Sales and Reps
- Scheduling events and managing calendars
- Follow-up with Sales Reps and retailers via emails and phone calls
- Organize travel and expense budget
- Report on additional brands in the field
- Setting up retailer tradeshows and consumer events (B2C)
- Coordinate schedules and events with Reps
- Sort and prioritize product and material requests
- Suggest category//unit updates on yearly Price sheets
- Writing copy for N. American Market
- Communicate and Report w/ Inside and Outside Reps
- Manage Promotional Product (POP Displays, Catalogs, Tech Sheets, Training Manuals, etc.)
- Provide new product education and training for Sales Team
- Identify and incorporate Branding Concepts//Trends
Travel:
This is a remote employment opportunity. Candidates are expected to be in the field daily and should expect travel at approximately 50-70%. International travel will be required.
