Job Description & Requirements

Position Summary:

Looking for an experienced, motivated, and professional Customer Service Specialist, who has the desire and ability to work directly with retailers and consumers (wholesale and ecommerce).  Sales experience is a plus in addition to problem solving, time management, and a positive attitude.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and conflict-resolution from multi-channeled contacts.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns. Troubleshoots issues and determines best path for resolution utilizing quality metrics established by management to provide a consistent customer service experience.
  • Proactive, while communicates accurate information to the customer.
  • Field incoming requests, emails about orders, products, warranty registrations, and website help.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly, while focusing on the consumer experience from start to finish.
  • Order entry/management within provided ERP.
  • Manage, refund, adjust, and replace orders through various portals.
  • Monitor and respond to reviews and questions on website and various sales channels.
  • Compile and communicate user feedback to our internal team to help improve products.
  • Achieves personal and team performance objectives and standards.
  • Other activities as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • English fluency required. Bilingual encouraged.
  • Excellent communication and Customer Service skillset required.
  • Must be comfortable with, or willing to learn software including, but not limited to: Microsoft Dynamics,
  • Excellent written/verbal and follow-up/time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of and skill in using MS Office – Word & Excel - required.
  • Ability to adeptly multitask and prioritize as necessary with strong attention to detail.
  • Must be open to coaching and constructive feedback to improve their own performance and to enhance the overall performance of the team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Natural conversationalist with an outgoing & positive personality.
  • Experience and passion for hiking, backpacking and/or climbing is a plus.


Education & Experience:

  • Prior customer service experience in a high pace environment is preferred.
