This role will be a direct Far Bank employee.

Responsibilities:

·         Product Expertise and Technical Support.             Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our brands, including materials, construction, and functionality.   Utilize this knowledge to provide excellent technical support to customers via phone, email, and in-person interactions, assisting with inquiries related to product usage, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

·         Collaborating with the sales teams, you will be a key component in conducting product demonstrations and workshops at fly shops, events, and trade shows to educate dealers and consumers on the features, benefits, and best practices for using our products..

·         Inventory and Documentation management. Collaborate with sales and inventory teams to monitor stock levels and product availability to dealers.  This will also involve maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in our CRM system.

·         Event Conceptualization and Planning: Develop innovative and compelling dealer event concepts aligned with organizational goals. Create comprehensive event plans including timelines and logistics. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.

·         Tradeshow Management: Identify relevant tradeshows and exhibitions to showcase our products/services. Manage all aspects of tradeshow participation, including logistics, and staffing. Ensure the tradeshow presence aligns with brand messaging and objectives.


Job Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s Degree preferred

·         Minimum 3 years of sale experience – fly fishing industry preferred.

·         Must have a strong background and contacts in the fly fish and greater outdoor community

·         Extensive knowledge and proficiency in fly fishing techniques, gear, and equipment

·         Must possess advanced skill in fly angling

·         Technical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve customer queries.

·         Detail oriented with the ability to see patterns/trends and articulate solutions

·         Willingness to travel for on-site support, events, and demonstrations.

·         Team oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to work hard

·         Fully proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)

·         Highly motivated, flexible, self-directed, and outgoing personality. Adaptable to the situation and the individual customer needs is key.

·         Proven skills in planning, time management, prioritization, problem solving, decision making,– and acute attention to detail.

·         Communication - both written and verbal – is a must. Needed are excellent negotiation skills, as well as the ability to speak and present to large groups.

·         Must be willing and able to both drive and travel by airline to meet with shops and customers.

·         Location is flexible. However, the final candidate must live within the designated territory within 2 hours of an airport.  * North or South Carolina preferred.

Compensation:

·         Salary range between $65k to $75k, dependent on experience.
