Position Summary:
Finish Line® is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join the sales team in our Hauppauge, NY headquarters. In this role you will be tasked with servicing our domestic and international distributors and helping them find ways to increase sales of Finish Line® to bike shops, national retailers, and online retailers in their territories. You will liaise with our distributor’s Sales, Marketing and Product Management teams. You will be expected to travel from time to time to visit distributors, key retailers, and attend important industry events. You will work closely with Finish Line’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing to shape and execute sales and marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build meaningful relationships with existing distributors and help them increase their sales of our products.
• Help elevate brand awareness throughout the territories you manage.
• Clearly and efficiently communicate, orally and in writing, the strength of our brands, the effectiveness and uniqueness of our products.
• Field an array of customer service requests coming from distributor sales reps, bicycle shops, and consumers.
• Use your creativity and feel for a given market or distributor to suggest marketing ideas that can be executed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Use analytical skills to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities.
Ideal Requirements:
• Excellent presentation and people skills.
• Proficient with the following Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Goal oriented with ability to prioritize tasks to achieve set goals.
• An interest in the sport of cycling, mechanical aptitude, and understanding of how bike shops operate is preferred.
• Familiarity with specialty retailing and two-step distribution.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
• A demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability and willingness to manage multiple projects simultaneously and take them to completion in a timely manner.
