Job Description & Requirements

Job Summary: Troxus USA, a dynamic and forward-thinking company in the electric bike industry, is seeking a skilled Warehouse / Ebike Mechanic to join our team in Vista, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and ebike mechanics, coupled with proficiency in basic shipping and truck routing software. Forklift and hazmat certification are considered advantageous for this role.

 

Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations:
• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments of electric bike components and finished products.
• Manage inventory levels, perform regular cycle counts, and coordinate restocking activities.
• Utilize forklifts and other material handling equipment for efficient warehouse operations.
2. Ebike Maintenance and Repair:
• Assemble, maintain, and repair electric bikes according to company standards.
• Conduct quality checks on incoming bikes and components to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Shipping and Logistics:
• Utilize basic shipping software to process outgoing orders and generate shipping labels.
• Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
• Implement efficient truck routing strategies to optimize delivery routes.
4. Documentation and Compliance:
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hazardous materials handling procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of shipping and customs documentation as needed.
5. Collaboration:
• Communicate effectively with the warehouse team, logistics department, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service and Technical Support teams to address product-related inquiries and issues.

Requirements:

• Warehouse and Mechanical Skills:
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and ebike mechanics.
• Proficiency in using basic hand tools and ebike-specific tools.
• Software Proficiency:
• Familiarity with basic shipping and truck routing software.
• Ability to adapt to new software and technology platforms.
• Certifications:
• Forklift certification is highly desirable.
• Hazmat certification is a plus.
• Physical Fitness:
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, including fully assembled electric bikes.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.
• Detail-Oriented:
• Keen attention to detail in inventory management, order processing, and ebike repairs.
• Communication Skills:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow and give clear instructions.

 

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or mechanical role, preferably in the electric bike industry.
