Field Service Technician-

Montana Sport North America

Groveland, MA

 

Who We Are:

Montana Sport NA is a Swiss owned company that specializes in providing a wide range of machinery used for tuning alpine skis and snowboards to local ski shops and resorts throughout the US and Canada. We are a growing company looking to hire talented personnel to aid in our growth goals.

 

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a full-time field service technician with a strong mechanical and electrical background in both low and medium voltage. This position will require performing field service within your territory (multiple states) within the US and Canada.

Percentage of travel: September through March 30%, April through August 10%

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Installation of new equipment

·         Follow-up technical support of installations

·         Yealy maintenance of existing machines

·         Service calls to repair broken machines

·         Phone support

·         Inhouse reconditioning of older equipment

 

The Right Stuff:

The right candidate must be able to work independently, while also being able to work as a team on larger jobs. Must have sound reasoning and decision-making skills. Must have a clean driver’s license, passport and comfortable traveling by plane. The candidate will work out of our local office (Groveland, MA or Arvada, CO) along with the rest of the team and report to the local manager.

 

 

 

 

 

Education & Experience

·         Technical School, or military training

·         3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Basic electrical knowledge

·         Familiarity with protective relays, power meters, PLC’s and power distribution, Control schematics is a plus.

 

**Candidate to also receive on-the-job training on all Montana machinery.
