Job Description & Requirements

Our Insides Sales/Customer Service agents provide customer service to out Canadian retailers and consumers, as well as support our Outside Sales Representatives to grow sales within their territory.  

Key responsibilities include:

·      Provide customer service to our existing customers through sales calls, emails and chat;

·      Support their attributed Outside Sales representative(s);

·      Build positive relationships with retailers and consumers;

·      Coordinate and execute sales programs within the territory;

·      Process and follow-up sales orders;

·      Prepare and present sales presentations and quotes;

·      Establish a regional business plan that supports HLC’s national initiatives;

·      Maintains up-to-date knowledge of bike products;

·      Prospect for and confirm new business;

·      Develop and maintain key relationships;

 

Qualifications for this role include:

·      Post-secondary education, with business degree being preferable;

·      Proficiency in Excel and strong written and verbal communication skills;

·      5 years of experience demonstrating strong skills in customer service ;

·      Knowledge of the sports, cycling and retail business;

 

Additional skills desired include:

·      Relational skills as well as a demonstrated talent for customer service (customer focus);

·      A contagious positive attitude and a spirit of initiatives;

·      Keen understanding of the sales timeline analytics and the internal processes;

·      Able to work independently;

·      Strong organizational and follow-up skills;

·      Bilingual would be a strong asset (French / English);

·      High attention to detail and accuracy;

·      Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a high paced, demanding environment;

·      Taking part and travelling to select corporate meetings including sales meetings, trade shows, and office visits.
