Job Description & Requirements


The Adventure Concierge Specialist leads proactive & reactive sales associated with Campfire Ranch’s Adventure Concierge service, which includes events, experiences, groups, gear rentals and add-ons at all Campfire Ranch locations. This role is expected to establish and manage all sales leads, align Campfire Ranch products & services with customer needs and guide customers through planning their trips. The Adventure Concierge Specialist will act as a counterpart alongside the operations and marketing teams to drive revenue, grow occupancy, build relationships and up-level the customer experience at all Campfire Ranch locations.

  • Lead the sales of Adventure Concierge services.
  • Identify and evaluate sales targets for Adventure Concierge services.
  • Manage external & internal inquiries for Adventure Concierge services.
  • Establish the operating procedures & necessary tools for the sales of Adventure Concierge Services.
  • Craft and adapt Campfire Ranch’s sales strategy annually, in collaboration with operations & marketing teams. 
  • Setup and manage a CRM platform to track the success of customer relationships at all properties.
  • Research, identify and establish business relationships with Adventure Concierge partners near each property. 
  • Explain and communicate Adventure Concierge services to customers through all relevant channels.
  • Prepare and implement an annual business plan and budget for sales activities.
  • Execute all risk management procedures & communications as defined by Campfire Ranch leadership.
  • Represent the Campfire Ranch brand in a positive and welcoming manner when meeting with customers, public, vendors & internal stakeholders.
  • Uphold a work-hard, play-hard mentality alongside the entire Campfire Ranch team.
  • Provide direction and insight to the leadership team on a regular basis. 


  • Develop strategies to increase group reservation sales to combat low-occupancy moments at all properties. 
  • Implement strategies to increase checkout cart size of all reservations, at all properties, through the sale of Adventure Concierge services. 
  • Oversee response to consumers interested in Campfire Ranch’s Adventure Concierge services.
  • Represent Campfire Ranch guest needs when working with the operations team to communicate and deliver Adventure Concierge services.
  • Discover and develop new Adventure Concierge services that meet the needs of our unique and diverse customer base at each property.
  • Regularly explore & share our Adventure Concierge services with customers using all relevant channels. 
  • Provide insights and support to the marketing team regarding customer data, segmentation and purchase behaviors. 
  • Implement, oversee, and manage CRM and all other tools and platforms necessary for the sales of Adventure Concierge services.
  • Implement key business functions for setup and deployment of sales activities.
  • Establish an annual sales calendar in collaboration with the marketing & operations teams.
  • Coach, motivate and engage all business teams to participate in sales activities. 
  • Manage the sales budget in close collaboration with the Controller.
  • Identify key business success metrics as it relates to sales activities.


  • Ability to successfully generate leads and sell hospitality services such as: events, group reservations, incidentals, add-ons, 3rd-party services and more.
  • Ability to work closely with an executive (CEO) to manage hospitality sales in a startup business setting.
  • Experience executing trip planning in and for rural, remote, and outdoor settings, preferably with participant focused experiences, events, and hospitality. 
  • Ability to develop and implement new and improved strategies for sales & add-on services.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in various outdoor environments.
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and communicating with others to deliver against simultaneous deadlines.
  • Superb organization, planning and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing and growing customer relationships.
  • Strong data management skills and knowledge of CRM systems preferred.
  • Experience interpreting and executing risk management procedures and managing crisis situations.
  • Experience managing and leading a team comprised of all levels of employees. 
  • Experience overseeing and managing compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and working with an executive to formulate responses to legal and regulatory issues.
  • Experience identifying and addressing personnel issues.
  • Ability to understand and adjust to the needs of various seasons, environments, communities, and make on-the-spot decisions addressing hospitality issues that may arise.
  • Patience and thoughtfulness in discerning customer behaviors, communications and attitudes.
  • Exhibit creative thinking and the ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion to solve problems and overcome obstacles. 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1+ year B2C sales work experience in the outdoor or hospitality industry preferred.


  • Start date: June, 2024
  • Compensation: exempt employee, base salary starting at $55,000 based on experience , to receive base salary paychecks on the 1st and 15th of each month; commission pay, paid quarterly after meeting sales targets set by --Campfire Ranch.
  • Bonus structure: at Campfire Ranch’s discretion.
  • Benefits: $400 annual gear stipend, discounted friends and family stays at Campfire Ranch locations, industry discounts with partner outdoor brands, health insurance not provided at this time.
  • Work Schedule: full-time, expected to work an average of 40hrs/week, including relevant holidays as needed, but subject to change.
  • Mileage & travel costs: to be reimbursed for business trips outside of the Gunnison-Crested Butte Valley, with prior approval.
  • Expenses: to be reimbursed via documented receipts for all approved business-related purchases.
  • Location: Gunnison, CO - remote considered with hiring manager approval
  • Travel required: 10-20%
