SUMMARY

Responsible for managing all the day-to-day functions required for the accounting department to run smoothly and accurately and to support other departments to attain financial goals. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Execute daily activities of the accounting department including verifying that all transactions are recorded in a current and accurate manner.
• Process all A/R invoicing daily. Develop and maintain filing system for A/R.
• Process cash receipts (include credit card deposits and reconciliations).
• Process all A/P invoicing daily, including getting approval and feedback from appropriate staff members and facilitating vendor payments.
• Maintain A/P paper flow and documentation.
• Maintain purchasing and other tracking systems as necessary.
• Maintain RMA process with credit memo’s and sales order processing.
• Maintain communication with shared emails
• Cross-train with other departments at appropriate levels to integrate all departments and help develop processes and procedures to streamline operations.  This is always necessary in small companies to guarantee coverage.
• Procurement of office supplies
• Other duties as necessary
