We are seeking an experienced Sales and Product Manager to join our team to help manage our Bootdoc/Hotronic product line. The requirements listed below are only a representation of the work environment, knowledge, skills, and abilities required or preferred.

What the Sales and Product Manager will do:

  • Manage current customer accounts and sales
  • Assist Sales Reps with in-season and preseason sales reports
  • Solve problems with consumers and dealers
  • Coordinate samples with Austria including distributing them upon arrival in the U.S.
  • Provide timely feedback to Austria regarding sample strengths and areas for improvement
  • Help maintain packaging image in line with corporate CI
  • Handle and assist customers with warranty claims and returns efficiently
  • Write and manage sales and technical support materials including product manuals, clinics materials, etc.
  • Assist with organizing and attending trade shows including packing, unloading, setup, and general support for sales staff
  • Troubleshoot & develop best practice for addressing issues as they arise
  • Run monthly reports in-season to track warranty claims
  • Resolve product problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint and follow the whole process to resolution
  • Lead end-to-end project success, from discovery to launch
  • Own the product vision and collaborate to create meaningful problem statements
  • Work closely with marketing, and data teams
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity
  • Support sales and marketing by communicating product features and functionality
  • Represent the product within the company and act as a point person to leadership

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing and/or 6 years of equivalent experience in sporting goods
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven track record in retail sales and product management
  • Knowledge of SAP, Filemaker, and Dropbox a plus
