Your Impact

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Water Ski Production Support Technician to join our team at HO Sports Company, a leading water ski manufacturing company. This role involves precision work in cutting carbon fiber sheets using a die stamp machine, as well as utilizing a bandsaw and various hand tools to process and finish production parts. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, experience with composite materials, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in our production process.

What You’ll Do

  • Operate a die stamp machine to cut carbon fiber sheets according to specified designs.
  • Use a bandsaw to trim and shape materials for production components.
  • Utilize hand tools including drills, files, and table saw to further process and refine parts.
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in all cutting and shaping processes to meet quality standards.
  • Inspect finished parts for defects and imperfections, making necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure timely completion of parts for assembly.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking materials and reporting supply needs.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

What You’ve Accomplished

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably working with composite materials.
  • Proficiency in operating die stamp machines, bandsaws, and various hand tools (drills, files, table saw, etc.).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow production specifications.
  • Familiarity with MS Office 365.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  • Capacity to work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals.
  • Good physical condition with the ability to lift and move materials as needed.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
