MANAGER OF CONTENT AND DESIGN

The right candidate will serve as our primary content creator and digital asset manager across graphic design, video, and photography projects.

This position rewards a person who can excel in the global and fast-paced challenges of the bike industry and who recognizes that organization and long-term planning are critical to effective and authentic marketing.

We’re seeking a full-time Content and Design Manager based in Golden to manage content planning, creation and organization, plus all the amazing things you’ll bring to the table. This position reports to the Marketing Director with a dotted line to Sr. Product Designer.

Key Responsibilities

Graphic Design  (30%)

  • Operate effectively in Adobe Creative Suite and other creative software to generate on-brand content across a range of outputs.

  • Assist product design team with product packaging design.

  • Build graphic layouts including signage, advertising, and print collateral in support of marketing department objectives. 

Content Creation  (30%)

  • Shoot and edit photo / video with in-house studio resources, including product user guides, vlog-style feature walk throughs, and social media shorts.

  • Manage YouTube channel dashboard and channel content to ensure on-brand presence in support of end user experience.

  • Maintain a comprehensive, data-driven plan for content creation across all channels to ensure up-to-date photo and video content.

  • Schedule and coordinate outsourced photo and video shoots.

  • Manage relationships with photo and video contractors to ensure timely delivery of on-budget and on-brand content.

  • Collaborate with Marketing Director and Ecomm and Activations Manager for social media content ideation and creation. 

Digital Asset Management (20%)

  • Own the organization and maintenance of Photoshelter for Brand’s Digital Asset Management site.

  • Curate image library to ensure exceptional and up to date representation of the entire product line. 

  • Assist Marketing Director with distribution of new imagery to commercial partners and collaborators. 

  • Identify and execute opportunities for asset improvements.

Miscellaneous Marketing Contributions  (20%)

  • Assist in creating and managing strategies for new products, launches, events, collaborations and promotions

  • Attend trade shows and other events - serve as one of the faces for our brand

Requirements

  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite applications: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Figma and other creative programs .

  • Experienced with end-to-end video production, editing and file management.

  • Adept in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.

  • A creative mindset grounded in planning for successful execution.

  • Strong sense of organization and deadline management.

  • Bachelor's degree in digital creation, multimedia or videography or in a related field

  • Minimum 5 years in a professional setting

  • Able to manage asynchronous tasks across multiple projects.

Other Valuable Skill Considerations 

  • Passionate about bicycles and the sport of cycling.

  • Experienced with field marketing activation planning and execution.

  • Observant of, and in tune with, trends in the sport of cycling, social media, and video content.

  • Mechanically proficient with bikes and bike accessories. 

  • Familiar with specialty retail bike shop environments, their employees and clientele. 

Reporting

  • Reports to Marketing Director.

  • The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $65k-$75k depending on each candidate’s experience, qualifications, attitude and passion
