Job Title: Eastern U.S. Technical Field Demo and Event Representative

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Technical Field Demo and Event Representative to join our team. At Stan’s, in addition to creating some of the world’s most innovative cycling products and technologies—we’re building a team that moves our company forward. In this role, you will represent Stan’s at events, trade shows, and retail locations, providing customer engagement, compelling product demonstrations, supporting marketing initiatives, and helping us showcase our innovative cycling products, technologies, and foster connections with our customers. This role offers a flexible schedule, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, event-driven environment and is comfortable traveling to various locations.

CORE ATTRIBUTES – Who You Are

·        Culturally Aligned to Stan’s: You embody Stan’s core values through a focus on customer satisfaction, integrity, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring your actions contribute to a culture of growth, excellence, and shared success.

·        Brand Ambassador: You are passionate about representing the Stan’s brand and take pride in sharing our story with others.

·        Gear-savvy: You’re mechanically inclined, with a knack for fixing things. Whether it’s repairing wheels, performing sealant refreshes, swapping freehubs, fixing a broken tent frame, or solving last-minute product issues – you have what it takes to solve the problem.

·        Communication: You know how to clearly communicate the value and technical details of our innovative products to consumers and cycling enthusiasts.

·        Adventurer: You’re a road warrior who loves to travel, ready to hit the road with a well-organized van and a can-do attitude.

·        Flexible: Adaptability is second nature to you. You’re ready to work in diverse conditions, varying hours, long days, unpredictable weather, or tight deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES – What You’ll Do

·        Travel and Event Coordination - Travel to/from a schedule of events located east of the Rocky Mountains, setting up and tearing down event tents, displays, and equipment while maintaining and organizing supplies.

·        Technical Product Support - Perform basic repairs and maintenance - including wheel repairs, tubeless sealant refreshes, and anything else required to keep people riding and enjoying bikes.

·        Consumer Engagement - Coordinating appearances or involvement of athletes/brand ambassadors at events including meet-and-greets, product endorsements, or live demonstrations by athletes/ambassadors.

·        Brand Representation - Represent the brand at events by educating consumers, answering questions, and showcasing products in a professional and upbeat manner.

REQUIREMENTS – What it Takes

  • At least two (2) years of proven experience as a demo van driver and mechanic, technical product support and maintenance or a related role.
  • Passion for events, branding, and connecting with athletes, fans, and other people passionate about cycling.
  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  •  Expected to travel (70%) per week based on event schedule, including weekends and travel days.
  •  Valid driver’s license and ability to transport demo equipment to various locations.

Salary & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this full-time position is between $53,000 and $58,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, Stan’s offers competitive benefits that include healthcare, medical, dental and vision insurance coverage, an attractive vacation and time off policy, and an investment package that includes retirement and a Roth 401(k) with employer contribution. As part of the Stan’s team, you’re qualified for many outdoor industry employee purchase programs.

About Stan's Performance Products

Today, riders and racers around the world rely on the tubeless technology Stan developed, and our sealant has been honored as one of the most important innovations in the history of cycling. “The First Name in Tubeless” is more than just marketing to us. It’s who we are.  We also continue to push the development of high-performance tubeless systems for road bikes, offering both carbon fiber and aluminum rims specially designed to handle the higher pressures of tubeless road tires.

Our newest asymmetric rim designs took years to develop, and bring Stan's legendary ease of inflation and reliability to offset rims that allow for stronger overall wheel builds and in most cases a single spoke length for both front and rear wheels. By focusing on details like this, we continue to improve tubeless performance for all riders.
