Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Sales Representative (100% commission based) to join the Mountainsmith team. This role will focus on building strong relationships with retailers, driving sales growth, and representing our brand to outdoor enthusiasts and industry partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, a deep understanding of retail dynamics, and a proven ability to exceed sales targets.  This position is for the Mid-Atlantic territory which consisit of NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, DC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing retail accounts and identify new opportunities to grow market presence.
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets in assigned territories.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and act as a brand ambassador for Mountainsmith.
  • Conduct product training sessions with retail staff to ensure comprehensive knowledge of Mountainsmith gear.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with brand initiatives.
  • Attend trade shows, events, and meetings to represent Mountainsmith and network with industry professionals.
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts to track performance and identify growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the outdoor gear, sporting goods, or related industries.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with outdoor activities and a passion for the outdoors.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
