A.J's Ski & Sports began in 1976 when Art and Gail Shinners wanted to open a shop that offered the best in winter and summer sports clothing and equipment. There's been much change over the years in sports technology and the Shinners have kept up with the latest advances.
The staff of A.J's Sports is made up of active outdoor loving enthusiast that go beyond the normal customer service standard to help customers decide what items will work for there next outdoor adventure. Our open air bike shop services and sells all types of bikes with a focus on mountain bike sales followed by gravel and kids bikes. Our mechanics work in a open air setting with direct trail access to some of the best mountain bike trail networks in Vermont. We encourage all staff to participate in the bike community of Stowe and live a healthy active lifestyle.
